The Rotary Club of Edinburgh
Photos - Chipembi Girls School in Zambia
On Thursday 10th August 2006 the Club welcomed a party
of two teachers and two pupils from Chipembi Girls' School in Zambia.
They were introduced by Ian Gilmour who is Minister of South Leith Parish
Church and Public Relations secretary of Leith Rotary Club. Ian had
addressed Edinburgh Rotary Club a few weeks previously on the subject
of the School's need for assistance with improved water supply services,
and we are investigating how the Edinburgh Club can help with the good
work which has been done to support the school over a number of years
by Leith Rotary Club and South Leith Parish Church.
