Edinburgh Headway Group

Edinburgh Headway Group was founded in 1982. Based in premises provided by the Astley Ainslie Hospital, Edinburgh, the Group provides rehabilitative activities for people in Edinburgh and the Lothians who have suffered traumatic head injuries as wel as sympathetic support for them and their relatives.

On average between 30 and 40 head-injured attend every week. Currently there are several members of the Club serving on the management committee and helping in various other ways. All are volunteers. The Club has also provided financial help over the years.
