Fresh Start

Fresh start is an Edinburgh wide charitable organisation drawing on practical contributions from a range of caring bodies in the city; its aim is to provide help in various ways to homeless or otherwise disadvantaged people.

Since 1998 12 Rotarians from the Edinburgh Club working in 3 teams have manned a packing station on a weekly basis where essential househlod goods are assembled as starter packs for needy, often younger, people setting up home usually for the first time.
